Aches and Pains

This weekend is the recital. I usually love it, the costumes, the performance, the fun make-up. This is the first time in 2 years that I am performing in the recital. Last year I elected to go to DisneyLand with the school band, and the year before I chose to go to Japan. Somehow in the other opportunities i have had, I forgot about the stress and emotional toll it can take on you.
Today I had 3 dance classes back to back, and it wore me out. My second class, Jazz, has a particularly exhausting dance, and after the second time through, I was plagued with aches and pains, my knees were hurting, and I was just plain tired.I was so worn out, that in the 15 minute interval between my Jazz and Modern classes, I literally, just sat there and cried.
I was frustrated with dance, I didn't want to go to my next class. I just wanted to go home. But we are 3 days from our performances, so I couldn't miss this rehearsal. And a strange thing happened when I started to dance. I felt better. I no longer felt discouraged and weak, I felt empowered and strong. And while my physical pains are still here, I am somehow able to push through and dance, they even started to go away. I don't know what happened, you would think that more dancing would simply aggravate my pains, but this choreography seemed to alleviate it.
Now the only reason I can find for this miracle is that, my modern piece is not just a dance, it's a act of worship. When I danced I did not dance for my glory, but for the glory of my king. And tonight has shown me more than ever before, If you give all you pains and worries to God, he will take the pains away, sometimes quite literally.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!

Wow. Its 07. This year I'll be graduating from Middle school.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Just yesterday wasn't I asking my mom to drop me off around the cornor from my ELEMENTRY school so I could walk up to the door alone? Wasn't it just the other day when I broke my arm?
In two weeks Ill be turning 14, and for my birthday party I'm actually having a very low key day. All ( or at least most) of my freinds and I will be just hanging, but still, I'M ALMOST A HIGH SCHOOLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I remember when I was first starting middle school, I was so nervous, now, I'M TERRIFIED. I don't like the school I'm going to, I will only be with ONE of my freinds, and MY SISTER WILL BE IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY!
This will be the longest time ever with out my sister, ever. She has allways been there to help me with things like school, freindships, and family. I have become so dependent on her to help me with my problems, and now we may never be living together again. I'll never have someone to be there when I do bad on a test, she won't be there to cry on when my mom and I have a fight.
HOW WILL I SURVIVE??????????
By trusting in mylord an d god, Jesus Christ.

Christmas List

Its that time of year. We just spent a lot of money on a remodel so I'm really not expecting a lot under our christmas tree, so I have really low expectations. Really I don't quite know what I want but some jewelry (even the cheap kind), or some good books. really gift cards are fine. I like preety much all stores that most teenage girls don't: Barns and Nobles, Sears, and Old Navy. Cash. That's a good present. Then I, being indicisive can just blow it on an impulse shopping spree. ;)

Through The Wardrobe

This time of year, my dance studio puts on their annual winter show. Our show is called Adventures in Narnia. It is an adaptation of The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. This is the 4th year we have done the show. The first year I got to play the role of the dwarf. The dwarf, in the original casting, did not exist, how ever a few weeks into the show, we developed the role of the dwarf, just for me. I also played the dwarf the 2nd year. The third year I was very fourtunate to be cast as Edmund. It was difficult and tireing, and I injured my self more than once, but it was rewarding. This year I am very happy, I am playing Mr. Beaver. It isn't as hard as Edmund, but its just as fun.
This year, my best freind, Amy, is playing Mrs. Beaver, And I can sum that up in two words "Very akward." Another one of my freinds, Caleb, he is playing the dwarf, which is cool because all of the dwarfs, have ben plaed by me or my freinds. ( the third year my freind Michael played it.) I am hopeing to have some pictures up soon/

Here Come My Cyber-feet!

Today my loving sister set up her own Blog, leaving me to be the only member of my family to not have one, so here I come jumping into the deep pool of cyber space feet first. I would like to try and update weekly, but being the unorgonized person that I am, it might not happen. I would like to thank my sister A. for helping me get onto the high dive you can read her blog here.
